The Onerous Stone

. . . the pit is deep and full of beautiful clear water and you have arrived just in time to glimpse the rock as it plunks into the water and sinks rapidly toward the bottom. This seems like a good time to turn back but something down there is tugging on you and won't let you leave. Strangely you find yourself nervous at this threshold... you are completely solid now, you know you'll hit the water hard and feel the rush of air as you fall. Maybe you are having a dim memory of your past life, perhaps a fear of heights, or you never learned to swim. The rock sinks out of sight; you can't wait a minute longer and you take the plunge down into the cavern below.
You slap the water and feel stunned, your loud splash disturbs the stillness and echoes off the walls. Below you can just barely make out the shape of the stone falling deeper and deeper and you start to sink as well.

ITS HAPPENING

I had so much trouble trying to find a good reference for underwater bubbles at this angle so I just kind of made everything up. I think I like the end results??? who knows.
